The village of Mundal in Fjaerland, Norway, is located at the tip of Fjaerlandsfjord, an arm of Sognefjord, and at the foot of Jostedal Glacier. Great-grandfather Erick Mundahl emigrated as a child from here to America with his family in 1870.
